Betty Academy is a testament to the power of love and legacy. It was born out of deep love for Betty Njoki, a devoted wife, mother, and woman of unwavering faith. Her passing on 11th October 1996 marked the genesis of an extraordinary journey. Following Betty's peaceful resting place, the vision to commemorate her life through a Christian school took root.
Betty Njoki Nguru's unwavering faith was evident throughout her life, and even in her final moments, she affirmed, "GOD IS GOOD." These words, echoing her enduring belief, were adopted as the school's motto and continue to guide our path, 26 years later.
From the outset, we knew that Betty Academy would not just be a school but a haven for nurturing faith, character, and academic excellence. Founded on Christ and governed by Christian principles, our mission is to instill Christian values and morals into the hearts of the children we serve.
Our humble beginnings in a mud house did not deter us. Over the years, Betty Academy has blossomed into an educational sanctuary. We've replaced mud walls with permanent tuition blocks, added classrooms, offices, dormitories, a multi-purpose hall, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cutting-edge computer lab. We have harnessed modern utilities – electricity, water, and WiFi to enhance our teaching and learning experience. Our commitment extends to ensuring accessibility, and we now offer transport services, reaching even the most remote corners.

Our commitment to providing a conducive environment for quality education is reflected in the growth and development of our facilities. We boast eight classrooms, dedicated offices, staff rooms, dormitories for both girls and boys, a multi-purpose hall, a well-equipped kitchen, and a computer lab. Recent enhancements include access to electricity, clean water, and Wi-Fi connectivity. These modern facilities support and enrich the learning experience at Betty Academy.
As of June 2022, Betty Academy proudly hosts 301 young learners, ages 3 to 14. We remain dedicated to the Kenyan school curriculum, currently in transition from the 8-4-4 system to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Our journey is driven by our desire to see each child thrive, grow, and succeed, upholding the legacy of Betty Njoki.
